No mystery about who publishes this

About This Site

This site is published by Intravene Wellness Therapies, which provides mobile IV therapy across the Denver metropolitan area, including Lakewood.

It is not an independent review site and does not present itself as one. If you call the number on this site and book a visit, Intravene is paid for that visit. Knowing that should change how you read the pages that sell something — and it is exactly why some of the pages here do not.

What we sell, and what we do not

One thing: a critical-care nurse comes to your address in Lakewood and gives you IV fluids, with the drip built for what you actually need.

We do not sell memberships or packages. We do not treat conditions — we treat dehydration, and where dehydration is not the problem, an IV is the wrong purchase. We are not an emergency service and we do not carry what one carries.

Pages here that carry no offer

Two pages on this site have no phone button and no call to action, deliberately:

how to choose an IV provider in Colorado sets out what to ask any IV provider in Colorado, including us, and opens by saying that for most healthy adults a routine drip is not worth the money.

dehydration and stomach bugs explains how to tell ordinary dehydration from the kind that needs an emergency department, and spends most of its length on the cases where the answer is oral fluids or an ER rather than a visit from us.

We would rather be useful to people who never call than sell something to people who did not need it. In a category with the reputation this one has, that seems like the only defensible way to run a website.

Who does the work

Every Intravene visit is carried out by an ICU- or ER-trained critical-care nurse. Not "wellness staff", not a technician. Colorado licenses individual practitioners rather than IV clinics, so practitioner credentials are the thing worth checking — and they are public record through the Colorado Division of Professions and Occupations.

Medical oversight

Intravene operates under independent medical oversight from Guardian Medical Direction, a national physician-led medical direction group. Guardian provides medical oversight to medical spas, wellness centers, telemedicine companies, and healthcare practitioners across the country. Through its team of highly qualified medical directors and physician collaborators, Guardian's mission is to provide high-quality medical oversight to practitioners striving to increase access to healthcare and better the lives of their clients and patients.

To be exact about the boundary: Guardian's oversight governs how Intravene delivers care. It is not a review or endorsement of what is published on this website. Those are two different claims and we keep them apart.

How this site is written

Plainly, and with the unflattering parts left in. Where the evidence for something is weak, the page says so. Where the right answer is an emergency department, the page says that instead of offering a booking.

Our editorial policy sets out how the content is researched and corrected, and what we do when the evidence is mixed.

Getting in touch

By phone. There is no contact form on this site — if you need fluids today, a form is the wrong instrument. contact
